"Why do you always get lost in museums?" I asked myself.
"Because it's circular."
I designed this building based on a combination of a Greek theater and Foucault's prison, unfolding people's curiosity to explore something virtual and grand. But at the same time, I also experience limitations and differences.

Panopticon, 18 century

A scene from a production of Martinu's The Greek Passion,1961, at the National Theatre, Prague. Based on Kazantzakis's novel, Christ Recrucified, the tragic opera is set in a Greek village, where a passion play is being prepared. Martinu incorporated Greek Orthodox chants into his score.
